I love the colour yellow in summer. It screams sunshine! The yellows wedge sandals in this image are from Bandolino. I was drawn to these sandals because of the

flowers on the wedge heels. It makes them very unique. I created this tableau using a light blue cardigan as the background. The cardigan brings out the blue in the yellow tank and the dark wash jeans ground the sandals.

I love the combination of yellow and navy so I don’t shy away from wearing jeans in July. To keep the look light I chose a breezy sleeveless top from Old Navy. Unfortunately my office can get chilly after the air conditioning has been running all day so I need to bring a cardigan with me to layer up in the afternoon.

The wedge or platform wedge was the height of fashion in the 1970s but my favourite vintage wedge sandal is from 1938 by Salvatore Ferragamo. I love the multi-colour platform of this shoe. Imagine the possibilities.
